The Youth LifeShift Project is a youth development and empowerment initiative designed to promote improved life aspirations and lifestyles of young Africans who desire to be impact leaders in their families, community, businesses, government and elsewhere. The project was conceived by LEAP Foundation NPC, a Non-Profit Organization that supports youth skills acquisition through specialized education, training, coaching and mentoring. The purpose of the Youth LifeShift Project is facilitation better access for youths of Africa to leadership, innovation, finance and entrepreneurship opportunities. The Youth LifeShift Project is comprised of three main programmes as follows:
  1. Youth Coaching and Mentoring Programme, a specialised coaching, coach-training and mentoring programme for aspiring youth coaches;
  2. Youth Entrepreneurship Support (“YES”), a business growth support initiative for budding youth entrepreneurs and business owners;
  3. Teen Action-Learning Programme, an introductory special education and life skills development programme for teenagers and high school students.
The Youth LifeShift Project offers an opportunity for sustainable and cost-effective “just-in-time” youth transformational intervention, through the provision of appropriate skills, to equip and enable the youths of Africa to adapt and thrive amidst the rapidly changing world and the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The goal is to contribute to blueprinting Africa’s future leadership.
